2048 is the legendary sliding puzzle where you merge matching tiles to build bigger numbers. Slide all tiles in one direction, and when two tiles with the same value collide, they combine into one. Two 2s become a 4, two 4s become an 8, and so on. Your goal is to reach the fabled 2048 tile before the board fills up and you run out of moves. Simple rules, weirdly hypnotic, dangerously replayable.
The classic strategy is to pick one corner and keep your biggest tile parked there. Build a descending chain of values along one edge and avoid pressing the direction that would break your formation. Panic moves are what end most runs, so when the board gets crowded, slow down and think two merges ahead instead of one.
